There are many ways of getting to Store Dyrehave, but we recommend either stopping with the S-train at Allerød Station and then explore the Takkekøb Hegn forest before reaching Store Dyrehave from the south. Another way is to reach the park directly from Hillerød, shortening the distance. Store Dyrehave is a captivating destination steeped in history and natural splendor. Eight forest paths are laid, radiating like a star outward from the centre of the park. It turns out that the path system was founded in 17th century by King Christian V for hunting purposes and today has gained a UNESCO World Heritage Site status. This vast royal deer park boasts old oak trees, meadows, and picturesque ponds. After exploring the tranquil trails, we recommend returning to Hillerød and visit the magnificent Frederiksborg Castle, which will add a touch of royal allure to your hiking day.

- Starting point: Rønnede, Take DSB train to e.g. Tureby Station, Næstved Station or Haslev Station. Then take bus to Ronnede or Vester Eged.

The historic Paradishaven, established 200 years ago as Hesede nursery, boasts a unique collection of rare trees, while Svenskekløften offers a beautiful forest area highlighted by a towering 30-35 meter high steep gorge. To get to Camp Adventure we recommend the train from Copenhagen to Tureby Station, and then hop on the bus towards Rønnede.
